Patrick is the Managing Director here at Claremont Retirement Village and on most days, you will find him taking his morning jog around our campus, dining with residents, or participating in one of our many activities. Over a decade ago, Patrick made the decision to honor the dedication his mother Lily demonstrated to those closest to her. Originally born in Montreal, Canada, he migrated to Florida to start Lily’s Promise in 2013.
He graduated from UCLA’s Andersen Business School with a Master’s in Business Administration. In the early part of his career, Patrick worked as a computer analyst, traveling the world and providing computer expertise to Fortune 500 companies looking to upgrade their information systems. He started his own computer consulting company at the age of 28.
15 years ago he shifted to real estate ventures. Specializing in turning around poorly performing real estate properties. In 2008 Patrick was looking for a way to apply his business talents to a socially significant industry. That’s when he got involved in the turnaround of Claremont Retirement Village here in Columbus, Ohio. Once completed, Patrick turned his efforts to growing Lily’s Promise in Florida. In the Spring of 2018, Patrick made the decision to come back to Claremont, bringing his “family first” inspirational approach with him.
Our Leadership Team
Deb has been a part of the Claremont family since the owner, Patrick, took over in 2018. Prior to Patrick taking over from his stepmother, Deb and Patrick served as consultants to assist the family owned business. Her background and years of experience come from hospitality (hotels) and senior living facilities.
Deb is an air force veteran where she attended Park College and earned her degree in Business Administration. She enjoys her spare time with her boyfriend and two dogs, Nikki and Cinnamon.
Director of Nursing
Donna has been part of the team since January 2020. She attended Columbus School of Practical Nursing and has been a nurse for over 52 years. Donna is devoted to providing the best care for our residents.
Director of Dining
Angela joined the team in September of 2020. She has been working in the food/dining industry since she was 15 years old. She became a sous-chef at 23 years old. Her passion for cooking is evident in the delicious meals her and her team prepare for our residents.
Although originally from the state of Washington, Angela has resided in Ohio most of her life. Married for over 33 years, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and senior dog.
Director of Maintenance
Jim has been a part of the Claremont family since April of 2021. His background is in residential maintenance, and he continues to apply those skills to maintain the facility in good condition at all times.
Jim and Tricia (Activities Director) recently married last year and now have a blended family, which they enjoy spending time with their grandkids and their new dog, Maui.
Director of Marketing and Sales
Mayra Aburto recently joined the team in August 2021. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Psychology minor. She will receive a Master’s of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing from Ashland University this fall 2021. Her background in marketing, from healthcare and entertainment industries, makes her a great addition to the team.
She moved to Columbus about two years ago from New Jersey. She keeps an active lifestyle as she enjoys playing soccer, bowling, and dancing. Mayra also enjoys spending time with her pets – two cats, a dog, and a turtle.
Business Office Manager
Trish started off as a part-time receptionist about five years ago, and now has evolved to become an integral part of the team as the business office manager. She handles our bookkeeping and hiring and training for our housekeeping and nursing staff.
Trish enjoys spending time with her family and new dog.
Tricia joined the team in May 2020. She started off as an Activities Coordinator and her talents led her to her current position. She enjoys making our residents smile through the daily activities and monthly themed socials she plans.
