“I think it (Claremont Retirement Village) is the greatest. I have been here over two years and I enjoy every day. All of the amenities (dining room, mailboxes, theater, and resident store) are very convenient. When the weather is nice, the outdoor areas are a beautiful place to sit or take a walk. During the summer months, I love that I can enjoy my screened patio, plant my flowers, and enjoy my view of all the greenery. I love all of the people that work here. The resident parties are wonderful, and we have a ball!”
“Claremont Retirement Village is top notch! My aunt has been there several years and she loves it. Her fellow residents are very welcoming and she has made true friendships that will last for life! She calls me regularly and tells me about how the activities department is always coming up with something fun AND safe. They even went grocery shopping for her when we couldn’t make it over there because of covid19. I’m completely happy with Claremont and my aunt’s experiences there and I’m glad she calls it home.
“My Aunt was a resident of the Claremont for over 5 years before she passed away recently at the great age of 103! She LOVED living at the Claremont with her cat – Kitty…she loved the people, the staff and the facility. The management team and staff were so kind to her and our family that when I turned in the keys the other day, I was sad I was not coming back. It truly is a place to call “home”.
You can spend a lot more money in our area for the same services and yes, they may have more bells and whistles, may be a newer facility, etc., but you will not get the same loving care and attention like that given at the Claremont. How do I know? My mother-in-law lives just 2 blocks from the Claremont in one of the area’s priciest facilities and they could learn a lot of lessons on how to treat their residents from the team at the Claremont.
Thank you to all the residents, the staff and management for being the most perfect place my aunt loved to live at!”
Claremont Village Independent Living is like living in a small neighborhood with neighbors just a few steps away across the hall. My husband and I especially like having a screened in porch and wonderful view of the the lovely garden spaces at each apartment and enjoy the wonderful menu selections. There are a wide variety of activities, bus trips for errands, shopping or dining out. Each day provides something to enjoy and the staff are very welcoming to new residents into the Claremont “Family”. – Google

“After taking mom to The Claremont for dinner a couple of times to get a feel for it, we moved her there in November 2019, and simply could not have made a better choice! Like almost any senior struggling to live on her own, she was not in favor of moving, but she loved the activities and quickly made lots of new friends. Her one bedroom independent living apartment is fantastic, complete with her own screened in patio. The food continues to impress as well. Mom has since gone through hip surgery and is almost finished with rehab, and with dramatically declining memory, we will be moving her into memory care in the same building. I can’t imagine a home for seniors having a more caring and helpful staff than The Claremont! The attention and caring we receive has been second to none. They’ve done extremely well keeping COVID-19 out of the building and we feel very safe having mom there. They are a little less expensive than similar facilities, but don’t let that fool you. We looked at a lot of places, and have friends who’ve had parents both at Claremont and other facilities, and Claremont competes very well on all important factors. It doesn’t feel like a senior facility; it feels like home. We feel like family there, and continue to believe it’s the best place for mom.
